Active nanophotonics

This group of studies focuses on the design, numerical simulation, and experimental verification of new, miniaturized active photonics devices. These devices control light properties through external influences. They aim to replace large optical elements, such as lenses and light filters, with nanoscale counterparts, which have the potential to be more efficient and precise.The response of nanostructured materials is different from that of bulk materials, and by adjusting the shape and position of nanoobjects, we can create structures with specific properties. This opens up new possibilities for designing and optimizing light-based systems.
